A properly functioning lipid mantle is the best protection against internal moisture loss and water evaporation, and its disruption can cause many negative effects on our skin.
What can cause a violation of this delicate structure?

WHAT CAUSES DAMAGE TO THE HYDROLIPID BARRIER AND WHAT ARE THE SYMPTOMS?

There are many factors that can cause irritation and, as a result, damage to the skin’s natural hydrolipid barrier. Most often, however, its weakening is caused by unfavorable external factors and, above all – inadequate care. Other causes may include:

  • Using too many cosmetics that contain strong active ingredients.
  • Dermatological treatment.
  • Rubbing the face with a rough towel.
  • Washing the face with products with inappropriate pH.
  • Overexposure to the sun.
  • The use of strong mechanical scrubs.

  1. Give up all cosmetics that can potentially irritate your skin, including acids and mechanical scrubs with particles.
