Diet for a beautiful complexion! Learn 5 ways!
Beautiful skin is the dream of many of us.
Every day we do our best to make our skin look fresh and radiant, but – as we well know – it does not always succeed.
Can diet help us in the fight for a healthy complexion?
Naturally!
Below we have for you a handful of tips that will show you that diet is of great importance for beauty.
Daily diet is of great importance for the appearance of our complexion.
Often, modifying your menu can help keep your skin in shape.
Remember that the subject of skin care should also be approached holistically.
It is worth paying attention to proper hydration, rest and sleep, as well as movement.
1. A DIET FULL OF VEGETABLES
The recommended daily intake of vegetables is approx.
700 g.
Our diet should be mainly rich in multicolored vegetables, which provide the body with many nutrients that positively affect the complexion.
We can then forget about dietary supplements with peace of mind.
Vegetables and fruits protect us from free radicals and delay the skin aging process.
All thanks to the content of many antioxidants, such as vitamins A, C, E, beta-carotene, selenium and flavonoids.
Each group of vegetable colors is characterized by the content of different bioactive substances valuable for the state of our skin.
For example, green leafy vegetables are rich in carotenoids, which protect skin cells from UV radiation and environmental pollutants.
They also have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects and are a great source of zinc.
2. HYDRATION FROM WITHIN – JUST WATER!
Have you ever heard the statement that “water will add health”?
It’s true!
Our bodies consist of approx.
60% of water, which is mainly located in our cells.
If it’s lacking where it’s needed – it can adversely affect our mood, metabolism and appearance.
Adequate hydration improves blood flow, which is good for blood supply to the skin and its firmness and elasticity.
Water also cleanses our body, and helps fight cellulite, brittle nails and hair.
It takes so little to help our health – just drink 2 liters of water a day!
3. NOT BANNED, IN FACT NECESSARY – HEALTHY FATS
Healthy fats are mainly monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats, which come from vegetables, nuts, seeds and fish.
When consumed in adequate amounts, they have a beneficial effect on the cardiovascular system, as well as supporting brain function and improving the condition of hair and skin.
They are also an invaluable source of energy during the day!
It literally only takes a small amount of them for our body to feel a huge difference.
Run to the store for avocados, and add a small amount of good quality olive oil or flaxseed oil to your meals.
It will be enough!
4. SUPERFOODS, OR SMALL CHANGES FOR A HUGE DIFFERENCE
Surely you have heard of superfoods.
These are natural, unprocessed foods rich in vitamins, minerals and phytochemicals that benefit our bodies, including our skin condition.
Here’s a list of the most popular superfoods that have invaluable effects on the skin and contain the highest amount of antioxidants: blueberries, strawberries, acai berries, camu camu, goji berries, crushed cacao, and bellows of Peru.
5. FAST FOOD, AND A CANDY BAR FOR DESSERT?
NOT THIS TIME!
Fast food is a quick way to satisfy our hunger, but for a short time.
At the same time, they are very high in saturated fats, artificial additives, salt and excessive sugar, which in larger quantities can harm our complexion.
Proper diet and good skin care is the key to success.
Choose dermatological cosmetics with regenerating and brightening effects, such as our cult C Line, which is extremely effective in dealing with visible signs of aging, which you can read about in our previous article.
However, remember that this is not everything!
The right products are just the icing on the cake, and it is our daily diet, physical activity and adequate rest that have the greatest impact on the appearance of our skin.
Apply our tips every day and let them become your habits.
You will see a huge difference!
